Comfort Inn & Suites Schenectady - Scotia

"The Comfort Inn & Suites is Schenectady, NY is a five-star hotel in all respects except for the water pressure in the shower, which is weak and cannot be adjusted either by the guest or the hotel staff. My room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in process was quick and painless. Staff members go out of their way to please their guests, and they attend to any and all concerns articulated to them. In my case, they apologized profusely about the water pressure in the shower, but explained that nothing could be done to ameliorate the problem. I was very impressed by their prompt attention to my complaint and genuine concern over the issue I raised. And I appreciated that they offered me a new room (which I declined). I recommend the hotel and honestly wish I could have awarded it a five-star rating for all the things they did right. I'd return to this hotel in a heartbeat -- only this time in a different room!"

"Very pleasant lobby and room. Excellent breakfast. Nicely maintained swimming pool. Only nit was the loud ventilation system in the hotel room, it was pretty noisy."

"Very good room for the price. Staff was excellent, Very good beds linens, etc. Exterior is not so great, doesn't look like a functioning hotel. But it is! And the TV was so high tech our wonderful front desk man was there in seconds to show a couple late 60's how to use it. Parking lot was packed at nite."
