โWe loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. Thereโs a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. Itโs a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. โ
โOur room was comfortable though it needed some minor maintenance - lightbulb out, loose shower grab bar. Breakfast was average. The hotel is very close to a grocery store, gas station and a few fast food choices. My dogs each got a gift bag at check-in. โ
โVery clean and comfortable stay.Loved how quiet it was,no slamming doors or people causing problems anywhere.Couldnโt tell anyone else was even there when there was many.Loved it!!โ
โBeautiful property only a few minutes from downtown Highlands. This historical property was refurbished with mid century design furnishings. The Oak Steakhouse is outstandingโฆ.well worth the splurge!
The only small criticism is the carpets need cleaning and the bath amenities need checking before someone occupies a room.
We will return!!!!!โ
