Although I appreciate the comfortable bed, shower to bathe and air conditioner for the heat, it is abundantly clear the owner of this hotel is in financial stress, has management issues or just doesn't care. The shower has cracked caulking, unfinished painting (white drywall spray instead of the red paint) of the wall after repairs done, shower fixture separated from the wall, baseboard caulking cracked open, walls and ceiling painted with different colors and sheen of paint, pool was empty of water, breakfast was carbohydrates only, coffee was watered down, sticky syrup on the table from previous guests (staff standing there, oblivious to this). The tap water in the room smells like sewage, with in-room coffee maker on counter without bottled water to use. The roof of the hotel is a faded orange, not red. One begins to wonder why the name "Red Roof Inn".
No, we won't be staying at this hotel chain again.
