"I had a wonderful stay at this APA hotel in the Ryogoku area and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. We stayed here from April 20th to April 30th, 2026, and had a great experience throughout our trip.The location is very convenient, and Ryogoku itself is such an amazing area. While it is a bit farther from some of the more central or bustling parts of the city, I actually found that to be a huge plus. After spending the day in busy, high-energy areas, it was so relaxing to come back to a quieter neighborhood where you can unwind and escape the chaos. The hotel staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Their hospitality really added to the overall positive experience. Check-out was also extremely smooth and convenient, which made our departure stress-free. The rooms are on the smaller side—as expected in Tokyo—but they are well-designed and have enough space for two people to stay comfortably. Everything was kept very clean, and the housekeeping service was exceptional throughout our stay. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the hotel’s amenities, one standout feature was the konbini located right in the building. It was incredibly handy to grab snacks, drinks, or quick meals without even having to leave the hotel. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay, and if I return to Japan, I would definitely choose to stay at this APA hotel again."

"For the past 3 years, I have come every other season and have only stayed at this property. Everyone at the front desk was super nice, attentive, and very helpful. This hotel is about an 8-10-minute walk to Sensoji temple and the 24-hour Donki store, and is just outside the kitchen home area. There are Lawson and 711 not too far away, about a 13-minute walk from Tarawachi station on the Ginza line. It is also close to the Skytree. While these tourist areas are nearby, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and there is a washer and dryer in the room, kitchenware if you need to cook, and a microwave. Everything feels like a small home. I highly recommend this place for all travelers. I love the Asakusa area as my base in Japan. Love this location. "

"Everything was convenient and the appliances came in handy. Only thing is that the location is a little bit farther from the station like 10-13 minute walk. Other than that amazing! But if you are carrying your own bags, it is a little rough going up a steep ramp and hill to the station. Was clean and nice location otherwise."

"This hotel is conveniently located next to some great shopping areas so ideal if you’re looking to pick up clothes, souvenirs or gifts. Slightly further away from the metro than most other hotels (about a 10 min walk) but didn’t affect us. The hotel itself is great, rooms are spacious, welcome drinks are offered each day for free and staff are friendly. We were given a smoking room which was the only downside as we are non-smokers and the room absolutely stank of smoke/cigarettes. When we notified staff of this, there were no alternative rooms available but they did make attempts to remove the smell (this didn’t do much but you could see they tried)"
