"Positives include nice clean room, good heat/ventilation, and well maintained grounds. Negatives included a shower with only half a door (and a hole in that half, by design) that left the bathroom floor flooded, a location that was a bit further from the National Park than optimal, and the thing that really spoiled the vibe - The property has a nice dining room. All the promotional literature, the main foyer signage, and the online info say dinner is served at 4 pm. We arrived hungry at 4:45 pm and were told the dining room didn't open 'til 5 pm. We went to the bar to wait and had an unpleasant interaction with a staff member who might have been joking but made us feel uncomfortable. So we left and went to the Gateway Family Diner (very close by on the same property - just 2 buildings down). We recommend you do the same."

"The motel was older and had obvious live in tenants that argued and fought at night. However, they did not bother us at all. The room was clean. I noticed there was no hair dryer but asked t the office and they gave me one. You have parking right in front of your room. Heat and air worked great. Electrical could use some updating. Overall i would stay again. "

"Beautiful property, excellent restaurant, very friendly staff, excellent waitress, location on the square excellent Parking close in city garage. Will go again"

"There was no hot tub"

"The shower was disgusting. Big gob of hair had to be cleaned out before a shower could be taken. The bathroom was dirty. House keeping doors not so a very good job and it's obvious no one checks to make sure the rooms are cleaned properly. I work at a hotel and that is unacceptable for the bathroom to be so dirty. Makes you wonder what else they don't do to avoid doing their jobs they are paid to do but does not do it well. The front desk man was in a room talking to someone and we called and did not get an answer. We went to find him because we heard people talking and he told my girl, she should have just let the phone ring. What kind of customer service is that? If you don't mind paying for a dirty room and bad customer service, this is the perfect place for you."

"It was basically clean & well maintained. It's considered a budget motel (in-spite of the price), but I wasn't expecting the Ritz anyway. Breakfast was a little disappointing. The pictures contradicted the printed text & the coffee was terrible. But again; it's a budget hotel. It's fine for a place to crash over-night as you travel."
