The grounds are just absolutely beautiful and the Inn is gorgeous. Judy, Ken and Veronica are fantastic and treated us With kindness and warmth. "Wonderful place to stay with amazing hosts. Beautiful vintage home with large rooms and amazing woodwork. Barb is a lovely, knowledgeable and intetesting host. Be prepared - she makes the most wonderful breakfasts and makes sure you do not leave hungry. The grounds are immaculate and landscaped beautifully by Ken. Shopping is very close by and easy to get to with a wide variety of choices. Hope to return next year again. Highly recommend. "

"I was traveling alone and stayed in the Virginia Room. It was very clean, cozy, quiet, and nicely decorated. Sam was friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t make the socials but it was nice to know that there’s an option to get to know other guests. They have a very nice patio area to sit and have coffee and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. "

"The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. I certainly don’t want to pay $100 ...

" The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. The hospitality was wonderful and breakfast was great. We learned a lot of Civil war history. We were surprised to find that the other couple staying there was from our hometown also."

"The Inn was so close to everything we wanted to do. Dining, shopping, and other attractions. It was quiet, clean, and updated. We had a balcony which was so nice to sit on in the evening and relax. The front desk guy is awesome. He is super friendly and has a great sense of humor. He will help you with anything you need. The only thing I recommend is that if you have neck or shoulder problems, bring your own pillows. Their pillows were nice, but I wish I would have had my own. I do have shoulder issues and it would have been better with my own pillows. The bed was soft and comfortable also. I highly recommend this Inn and would definitely stay here again. If you do stay here, you must eat at Cottage Creperie. It is almost directly across the street from the Inn. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! 5 stars from me! . "
