Only complaint room was downstairs below ground level and felt a bit damp, including the beds when you got in at night didn't sleep well. Had to get a couple of unwanted spiders removed.
However although a lick of paint was needed it was clean enough, the bathroom looked recently refurbished.
It is conveniently situated, eateries near by and the bus stop to city centre right outside.
The staff were very nice very helpful, and the the breakfast was lovely, best I've had in any hotel!
The staff were welcoming and helpful.
The room was not large but we didnt intend spending much time inside. It was clean and the bathroom had been refurbished. It's the first place in the UK where a hair-dryer has been provided in our room.
Breakfast could be purchased but we didn't use that option. I did go down and have a look and it had a great variety but it was too hot in the room.
It was a great location so it did get noisy with traffic and revellers but it was manageable. A bus stop right near the front door and laundromat in the next street. You could leave your laundry or do it yourself which is what we personally do.
Staff went out of their way to help, easy to get to and from city centre. Breakfast, especially porridge was great, definitely going here again on next Glasgow visit
