If I could rate this hotel zero stars I would. Parking is self park about 2 blocks away. If I have to lug my bags this far, parking should be free. What's missing in the room? No phone! Great hotel and right in heart of city center. It has discounted parking in a garage nearby as well for 9 pounds for 24 hours. there is breakfast bar and they offer free bag drop off service there. rooms are bit tight and small but overall very good.

Basic room which was clean and quiet but nothing extra, not even little bars of soap or shampoo. No phone to call the front desk directly in case of emergency and they charge you for WiFi. Our first visit to the Queen Street Travelodge in Glasgow and it certainly won't be our last. It ticked all the boxes. All staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was a problem to them. It was very busy when we were there - it was the weekend of the World Pipe Band Championships. Room was comfortable and all round the various areas were kept clean and tidy.
