Gran Canaria, Canary Islands hotel rooms at the Barcelo

"Really lovely hotel with fabulous staff. I opted for breakfast only as there are some great restaurants within walking distance. The royal level pool is really nice and you can order drinks via the app if you download it. The other part of the hotel has a nice pool bar as well. Well located, about 25 mins walk to both Playa del Inglés (though the walk back up the hill wasn’t the best in the heat) and the Dunes which were spectacular at sunrise. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the beach...

"Interesting place- lots to like, but not the "Zen Spa" experience expected. Still very enjoyable. The drive from LPA was pretty easy for a US driver - I wouldn't shy away from renting a car - it was a straight and easy ride. I parked on the street, no issue there. Room was super clean, lovely view, comfortable, Netflix on TV. No wash cloths. Shower was nice, great shampoos and plentiful amenities. There were 2 bottle of water in the mini-fridge but they were not replenished, a little stingy...

"We had a great time, the service was impeccable and the receptionists (Pablo, Paula, Didi) were welcoming and helpful. We got some good restaurants recommendations from them and the food was delicious. 100% recommend "
