“Not clean, smelled weird. The hand towel was dirty to the point where it was stiff. Not their fault, but on top of this faul smell coming from the room, I was having allergies from all the plants, trees, and dirt outside. I let them know we were unable to stay here and wanted a refund. They acted very understanding and said they were able to refund us if we dispute it with our credit card company. “We loved this hotel. Very well maintained, our room was modern and well appointed. The staff was terrific and really helpful. The hotel is slightly removed from central St Maxine, but that’s a good thing to us. The hotel serves a nice breakfast and they have a beach restaurant open until 6 right across the street. We would definitely stay here again.”
