"The staff was polite and courteous from the first moment. However, upon arrival into my room, I noticed fairly quickly that the AC wasn't working. It was a muggy 80 degrees in my room. So, I cranked down the AC to 60 and left for a bite to eat. When I returned to my room, I realized the AC was broken as the temp didn't move. I notified the front desk the next morning. They told me it was restored later that morning. I returned midday to find nothing was different. I told them again it needed to be fixed as the temp in the room was 80. They offered to move me for the second night of my two night stay. It was inconvenient, but I couldn't sleep in that room at 80. Could tell the facility is long past due for updates and renovations. Nice bar and restaurant on 1st floor. Enjoyed the meals and drinks. Bartenders were exceptionally polite and helpful."

"Our room (434) must be directly next to the water lines for the building. There was a sound of running water 24/7 and was very difficult to sleep through. Separately, this hotel has awful wifi. When we asked the front desk about the wifi password, she said it was public and there was no secure network, and spoke to us rudely and with a serious attitude, as if we were asking an outlandish question. I would not have booked a hotel without a reliable and secure wifi network, as I had work to do on this trip. I ended up having to go to a coffee shop to use their wifi for hours. Great location, but don’t expect wifi, or silent nights."

"There was only an expresso maker in room and no free coffee bar anywhere There was a post wedding breakfast scheduled for 9:00 and was not ready until 9:30 (even the coffee ) and the food was disappointing for such an upscale hotel. But the hotel was lovely"

"It was in a very sketchy place, there were random people at the property next door that you saw as you came in blaring music and more people just smoking and hand out right next to the entrance. The room was worn including cigarette burns on the blanket, worn leather in the desk seat, and the other chair looked very much worn. The refrigerator made noise all night and the pillows were so thin. The elevator was scary. We stayed for one night and I slept for a total of 2 hours. I couldn’t wait to get out of there"
