โThis is a dorm during the school year that serves as a hotel in the summer. My room had a private bath, and was small but comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It was convenient to downtown Akureyri, and also very close to a lovely botanical garden. It was perfect for what I needed. I did not pay extra for the buffet breakfast. The bed was more comfortable than other dorm accommodations I have stayed in. It was quiet and peaceful.โ

"Only a 5-minute walk from the airport. We landed at midnight and were very happy that the accommodation was close to the airport, easy to find, had kind staff, and offered an early breakfast service starting at 4:00 a.m.
