Excellent hotel and a great stay! The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The staff was amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds are especially comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of restaurants right at your doorstep.
Overall, a wonderful experience with great service, comfortable accommodations, and an excellent location. I would definitely stay here again!
This is my preferred stay in all of Guadalajara, we’ve stayed a few months at a time and the staff treats us like family. Very happy and comfortable.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Bellwort. It is well designed and inviting. I love the rooftop common area, and adjacent gym and lounge room, as well as the pool deck.
Great and awesome stay. We went to Guadalajara for a wedding date. The first two nights at a hotel recommended by the wedding website. Move to this hotel. Two days later in what a difference. Wish I would have stayed here. The whole time real comfortable. Everything was clean. Kim barely hear people walking down the hallways or the rooms next to you. The balcony he was a plus and it was close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Well be back just to stay in this hotel.
The Bellwort is a black and grey hotel. Bedding is black, ceiling is sculpted concrete and on a Main Street with traffic and noisy on the balcony. They provide water and coffee in the room. There was little space to hang clothes and towels. There are several small Asian restaurants downstairs that are ok. Highly recommend the Baham Cafe for breakfast half a block away. Lots of restaurants for lunch and dinner.
The towels were not soft and the pool was not really clean. You have to be very comfortable with your partner if you are sharing a room as the toilets are see through. Otherwise, great stay.
Although the room was smaller than anticipated, it was clean and comfortable and the room did have a balcony.
Unfortunately, the credit card I used to reserve the room was not accepted at the hotel front desk. I had to make different arrangements.
The problems: First, there is no table or chair in the room. This might be the first time. There is a metal barred bench I guess to put your suitcase on because there's no other apparent use for it. It's very dark. With all the lights on I could barely see, not to mention read. There is a giant concrete structure blocking the balcony and taking up a ton of space making a chunk of the room completely useless. The bathroom very functional, but the water smelling rancid. This is not just a toilet thing, when you turned on the sink faucet or the shower, it also smelled a little bit like sewer water. This needs to be fixed. One positive was that the bed was very comfortable.
Because I like to swim, I chose this hotel because of the rooftop pool. It was only about 3 feet deep. I could just barely swim, with my hands scraping the bottom of the pool. The water level also looked low, as the return spouts were at water level. like it could use about 6-10 inches of water, and make it more useful for actual swimming. It was also dirty with leaves and a sort of dark color. I think there is definitely a water problem for the entire hotel. They need to invest in a purification system for the building. I notified the front desk and they had someone apparently check it and they said it was not dirty and that the water level was normal (???).
The lobby restroom seat didn't fit, the faucet was broken, and it was a mess. Horrible impression for guests. Who manages this property???
