"Hotel location was great …..getting cabs etc was great helping to get back to airport…concierge service was great……...one problem was restaurant on 8th floor…… food was terrible ….. we ate dinner there and brunch ….. $49 for a brunch ….2 people for breakfast was over $100……dinner not good……expected much more for a 5 star hotel…….."

"Everyone is so welcoming and they hold our bags our room has always been very clean and we enjoy the delicious breakfast and proximity to the theatre and various restaurants. They help with recommendations and also tell how they really enjoy working there and it shows."

"A marquee Hotel in a wonderful part of NYC. Close to all the attractions and functional to go uptown & downtown. Storied History and wonderful staff. Wish the gym was a little larger (can be busy during mornings) and the building had a rooftop but the Villard bar is a throwback to a bygone era!"

"The hotel itself was in a nice location. Couldn’t hear much commotion for how close it is to Times Square. Cute, small hotel room. Our first night we found a bug in our bed but figured it would be too packed to get a new room. (no bites thankfully!) Overall, it was a good stay."
