it is next to the temple of Zeus and down the street from the national garden

If you rent a vehicle make sure if you are from USA that you get an International Driver's Permit. It is a requirement. You can easily get one at a Triple AAA before your trip. Research where you can exchange your currency. Closest place to Anavyssos is 35 minutes away. Local banks will not exchange currency.

Across the street from the hotel.  You can get some nice pictures as you walk down some of the alley streets towards the arch.
