"Amazing hotel, very badly let down by the staff. There is absolutely no attention to detail. They are all lovely but they tell you as little as possible unless you ask. No offer of ski lockers, ski passes, spa info etc. Dining room has amazing views but again no attention to detail. Eg.. ordered a dessert for sharing & it arrived with no plates, no cutlery. You have to ask for absolutely everything which I wouldn’t mind if I was in a low budget accommodation which this is not. I would stay...

"Dinner was great and people that worked in the restaurant were very helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The slide at the pool left me with painful bruises. We had booked horseback riding through the providerer recommended by the hotel. We received no confirmation email and no instructions of where to go. "Location, the hotel and staff were great however the first night, the temperature in the room was approx 26oC due to fault with the heating, so we had to sleep with the windows open. Reported to reception, but they couldn't do anything until maintenance came in the morning. The following day, there was no hot water for the shower and then this happened every morning until we left. Occasionally it came through, so we had to have a very quick shower."

"Unfortunately when we stayed there were floods in the local town and the older folks evacuated to the hotel. No fault of the hotel of course and they did let us cut short our stay with no issues. The decor is dated but with improvements it could be a great place. "

"I wasn’t able to check-in with them after waiting for an hour for someone to show up at the front desk. The property is supposed to be a 24-hour front desk. Not only was our experience awful and stressful, and we had to find a new hotel in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the night (the nearest hotel was an hour away), but our experience with hotels.com and the support staff was even worse and completely unprofessional. Very disappointed with hotels.com "
