When we made a reservation with hotels.com, we chose this inn because pictures of the room were so classy. But, the room looked so classy in the pictures --in fact, it was so so. And, the bathtub was not good. It was small and a little bit peeling off.”

“We were looking for a quick overnight in the East End, and the Harpoon House exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious (a suite!) and well-appointed, blending the charm of the original 1648 (!) building with modern amenities and furnishings. We didn't take advantage of the on-property restaurant (formerly Blu Mar), but the menu - by acclaimed chef Rocco DiSpirito - looked excellent, if a bit pricey. Location was ideal, within easy walking distance of all Main Street shops and...

“I had to stay one night only, for a short business trip and I am glad i found this place. I was not expecting the most luxury nor up to date hotel after reading some reviews but as long as it was clean i was satisfied. Well, i booked the small room and i was very pleased, it was immaculately clean, the sheets were super soft, and all pressed. This will be my regular place every time I need to travel to this area. I am.glad I found it and i didn't break the bank to stay in The Hamptons. ”

“Wonderful stay! There was a problem with the room we booked (things happen) but Dawn made sure we were happy in an upgraded room. Location is great, walking distance to Main Street. Breakfast was included with the option to be brought to your room. If visiting East Hampton, would definitely choose the Mill House. ”
