"For the budget price and proximity to major public transit routes in the city, this spot should definitely be considered for a budget conscious traveller going to Victoria. The staff were friendly and helpful. Willing to help us not get room cleaning service during weekdays (not offered on weekends), hold our bags before check in and after check out, and answer questions as needed. There were some minor things in the room like a decorative bed accent sheet with some stains, and AC which while worked couldn’t completely prevent noticing the over 30°C heat. Overall we were impressed and happy. We knew a budget option wouldn’t be 5 star and we came out not thinking it’s good enough but instead that it exceeded what we expected."

"We enjoyed our stay, and we were really happy to arrive and hear that our room had been upgraded for the one night we were booked to be there! The staff was helpful and responsive to help out right away when I thought we needed extra bedding…but it was already in the room:) It was a great location for downtown walking distance to the waterfront and to Chinatown. Lots of nearby shops for groceries etc. There is a parking garage close by that was only a few minutes walk and very reasonably priced too for our vehicle overnight. Enjoyed our stay:)"

"Fantastic location and always a beautiful view. Daff are lovely and the food is good but the price is very high for the level of the property. That said I stay here often when I’m on the island it is a great go to. I just try to avoid high season when the price is not match the level of comfort. I will return again soon and I already look forward to it."
