โOnly spent one night here, very comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Shopping mall opposite and places to eat nearby, breakfast was also good โ
โThis was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.โ
โClose to motorway but tucked away from any noise. Large car park, large pub and lots of amenities on your doorstep.
Limited Internet was my only problem but it may have been due to the storm.โ
โMy Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming.
Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed.
Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly.

Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issueโ
โWe rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. โQuirky property with complete self check-in using codes and key boxes. Room (St Albans) roomy and bathroom well appointed. WiFi worked well. Bit of a lack of surfaces - desk would have been nice. Great location - but town is uphill! โ
