“Apart from the host being welcoming, nothing else was. The room only got cleaned as we got there. Terrible transportation, no taxi wanted to pick us up or drive us there. I would not recommend. Very far from the city. ”

“The property is beautiful in the historical area of Curacao. The host greeted us at the door with cold water. We were pleasantly upgraded to a larger room with a balcony. Each floor, including our room, had an espresso machine including coffee and tea. The fixtures and furniture were all new and the rooms were spotless; lots of interesting vintage decorations. “The hotel was nice and room clean. However, the front desk was not attentive to answering calls. This hotel doesn't provide Room Service and the restaurant staff though friendly, provided inadequate service. Additionally, though you can see the ocean, this is not a beach property.”

“Overall out stay at Blue Bay was good. We booked an ocean view room but was a bit disappointed to see our view included the construction of a new beach which made our view not as pleasurable. On our first day the master bathroom flooded and water went throughout the unit. Maintenance arrived and was able to fix the drain and clean the water up. “It was so pleasant . The view of the pool on the property and bar as well from the balcony was nice. Bar food and drinks were good. The security and bar tender were attentive and kind. I will def go back. We felt safe walking the property at night and it is gated . Plenty of parking .”

“Loved this boutique hotel! Perfect location and equal easy walking access to Otrobanda, Punda and Pietermaai. Loved the pool to cool off in the evenings and the staff are very helpful and kind. Air conditioning worked very well, excellent water pressure for ladies with long hair. Rooms are clean and the hotel is period perfect. Can’t wait to go back”

“First day was a big disappointment. We came in at 11:00 because of an early flight, asked for an early check in, they told us the people from that room would leave at 12:00 and after that it would be cleaned immediately. The check in time is 15:00 and by 15:35 the room was ready. We asked for a compensation, because of the longer waiting time, but we never got it. If it was the other way as in a later check out, they would let us pay for it, but they’re even talking about our compensation...
