"The hotel is beautifully located, directly on the beach and is well maintained. I can definitely recommend going there. Everything was clean and staff was always friendly and helpful. The only downside was in my eyes that the pool closed early (6.00 pm)."

"My partner and I stayed for two nights and loved it at Irumote So! The room was spacious, the hosts are so lovely, and the hostel is equipped with everything you need. The rooftop patio was a beautiful place to watch the sun set. It’s a little far from town but the hosts will pick you up and drop you off from the ferry terminal. There’s a restaurant nearby which was great for dinners both nights. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Iriomote. "

"Seems to be newly built. Basic free amenities, the room itself is very modern with a comfortable bed, TV, air conditioning, kettle, private shower, and fridge. There is a vnding machine on site. The staff don't speak too much English but we were able to communicate just fine (日本語ちょっとおしゃべるけどギリギリ (笑) In regards to the area, there's not too much; some restaurants and a small supermarket, the staff have a list at the front desk of what is around the area. Very close to the port, so a very good choice if you're coming in from Uehara port "
