"What a wonderful place. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Even a bottle of their wine to enjoy. We used the pool as it was a hot day and we had been walking a lot so it helped our aching legs! Sadly we were only here one night but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "Initial impression down an ordinary street in a built up suburb was not great, but once inside the quirky, bohemian accommodation we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and Laurence, our host, was very friendly. She gave us recommendations for dinner and tips on getting into Bordeaux via tram. Breakfast was delicious and Laurence chatted easily with us. "

"Loved our stay at the beautiful Haut Bailly bed and breakfast. Instructions to get there and into our room was clear and easy. The service was wonderful with our host helping us get a taxi and assistance with logistics. The bike ride to the nearby wineries was wonderful. It’s very quiet and we were the only guests (kind of spooky on Halloween) but we loved it and would highly recommend it as a romantic stay in Bordeaux. "
