"The first thing that I noticed about our room is that we had booked a partial ocean view, however you couldn't see the ocean at all unless you actually went out on to the balcony and looked to the left. The actual view from the room was resort view. My son who had booked an ocean view actually got what I would consider a partial ocean view. Then as I was about to unpack some of my belongings, I stepped in a cold, wet spot on the floor. Upon further investigation we discovered that someone...

"This is an iconic and gorgeous property, the staff are incredible and it is right on the beach which is rare. That said- spring for an ocean view room. We didn’t see any reviews saying otherwise and we regret it. It was so. Noisy. Do not get a city view room for this reason if you wish to sleep. That and unfortunately the balcony’s were all under construction- this was super disappointing and could’ve been disclosed better prior to our stay. "

"Everything went well staff was excellent. Although it took the Ikena restaurant to so long to get our pancakes from the kitchen we left without having breakfast. Also connecting to the cable on the TV was very problematic. Dining at the Olivine was sublime :)"

"It was beautiful and the staff was lovely. But the temperature in my room was beyond cold. I blasted the heater and put a towel under the door but there was still cold air coming in through the hallways. Don’t understand why be so wasteful. I had to put on layers to sleep and my face was frozen every day."

"We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, we never had an issue finding chairs at the pool, loved snorkeling in the cove, and enjoyed seeing the sea turtles every morning while drinking our coffee. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the food wasn’t as tasty as we hoped it’d be however, having the shuttle service came in handy so we could try other restaurants nearby. "
