Room was fairly clean and comfortable. A lot of very noisy guests surrounding me (which obviously isn’t the hotels fault) which kept me up. It’s a basic hotel but had what I needed so no complaints.

Room was not the one I had booked. Not sure how there wasn’t an available room as I was the only car in the parking lot. Did not get a refund for the room change. Also quite a scary property/stay lol

The town is older environment wise. It is not an area that I’d normally visit. I stayed in the area because my son had a football game in the area, My preference is updated city life. It is a layed back but comfortable area.

If you plan to do any mining in the Herkimer diamond mines, wear long pants, bring and wear work gloves, bring various sizes of rock / mason chisels, including down to about 1/4". If you have a dental pick, those can be helpful too. Eat at Jamo's
