“Super clean home with everything you need. Road getting in is a little rough but very navigable. Wonderful wildlife sounds to lull you to sleep. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Great, quiet property atop the Hilo rainforest. It had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. Definitely needed a car to get around. But everything in Hilo was less than 15 minutes away. 4 stars for cleanliness, only because the house, like all houses in Hilo are older. But bedding, towels, kitchen and everything else is clean. We will definitely stay at the property again.”

“I like how big the house, easily accommodating at least 8 people. I also like it is located in the heart of where locals live, experiencing local culture. Lastly, I appreciate that they provided all of the essentials, including laundry products, making our stay like we are at home. ”

“The house was very unique and interesting, and with a lot of space. It was also close to the ocean which made it nice. The cochi frogs were kind of loud at night but it wasn't a problem for me at all. ”

“No parecía una casa funcional. La habitación de abajo queda muy separada y no tiene baño lo que la hace incómoda. Una sala con TV grande totalmente separada de la cocina comedor que no tiene tv. La casa es rara, muchos recovecos, grande pero no funcional. Provee solo 2 sillas para playa cuando éramos 5. Tampoco tiene bbq grill. Nos pareció cara por lo que realmente es.”

“Stunning park like setting with tropical fruit trees and wildlife. At night the birds, cicadas and frogs talk to each other. Very unique experience for our family.”

“Beautiful area, a public area in front of the water view and noisy at times. Very hot in this house during the day and most nights. There is no air-conditioning. Very low sense of urgency to fix the refrigerator. Called first thing and 5 1/2 hours later they came to look at it and 3 days later a new one was delivered. A bit rude person tending the property. The handy man was nice and helpful. ”

“The house is really amazing, and the coastline is beautiful. The sound of the waves crashing lulled us to sleep each night. There isn’t much to do anywhere near the house, so we did a lot of driving, but I didn’t mind that too much because of the peace and quiet (other than the ocean)! I prefer a softer bed than these, so sleeping was a little less enjoyable (but if you like a very firm bed, you will be very pleased)!”

"When I checked in, two employees at the front desk were terrible. They were very rude and even didn't let us know the locations of facilities. But the free parking and location were good! "

"The front desk staff were friendly, and I appreciated that the hotel was eco-friendly. Glass bottles were provided in the room so you have to get water from the lobby, and the shower amenities were environmentally conscious, minimizing plastic use. However, there was one major issue. Since the hotel is within 10 minutes of the airport, the loud noise from planes taking off made it difficult to sleep. I recommend flying in and out of Kona Airport instead of Hilo Airport."
