"We feel that Glorietta Bay Hotel main building is
beautiful hotel with great people that work there.
However we did have an issue with the AC turning on and off during the night which I notified the staff.
It was coming on and off every 10 to 15 minutes very loud and not always cooling like it was just the compressor.
Also I would like to say that the room is very dated
seems that doing an upgrade hasn’t been a priority
and that is a shame."
"Construction happening in the middle of the property so starting in the early morning and going all day all you hear is the sounds of buzz saws and hammering and construction. Also, the pool was very disappointing. Small hardly any room to walk around it very little shade and you’re not even allowed to bring snacks into the pool area. We rented three rooms and one of the rooms had hair in the shower when we got there. The pictures make it look so cute but the walkways look like they hadn’t...
"The parking can be a little tough but the staff, grounds and room more than make up for it. When you do find parking it is an easy walk to the zoo that is the Del Coronado (a lot of fun and historic but extremely expensive), and to many restaurants. They don’t have a pool but arrangements can be made. They serve a complimentary breakfast with mimosas if you’d like and an afternoon wine and cheese treat. All in all we will be back!"
"We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...
"I guess my only comment was that it is very crowded. It’s been over a decade since I stayed at the hotel Del and I was literally shocked at the expanse and how incredibly crowded it was."
