“Good basic accommodation to rear of pub. Convenient for food and helpful access from parking along road to rear. Some basics missing for self catering breakfast even if only with a microwave and toaster - such as tea towel, washing up brush”

“We upgraded for a spa suite and were not disappointed! It included a lovely sitting area, big bathroom with shower & bath and a very comfortable bed. As well as straight access into the spa area. The lady on reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room was modern, clean and really spacious. There is also a mini fridge and bits for tea, coffee & hot chocolate and bonus cookies which were a lovely extra. The spa was very busy when we stayed but we still managed to try all the areas...

“This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. Very satisfied, look forward to a return visit to try out the restaurant which was closed on this visit.”

“Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

“Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended.”

“This was an unexpected find...and I shall be back! What a thoroughly enjoyable evening and stay over! I was working in King's Lynn and looked for somewhere central to stay. This popped up and showed a great value room for my night! I arrived late afternoon to a warm welcome...had to ignore the bar as I had some work to do, and so was taken up to the room...or should I say rooms! I had a beautiful suite overlooking the Market Place and the Minster! What a treat. There was a large open plan...

“Lovely room, down the road from the pub: just a short distance, and parked on the road outside. This is a posh village, which seems to have multiple pubs/ accommodation, and reportedly an excellent 'Deli'. A beautiful area, easily accessed on the A149, past Sandringham, north of Kings Lynn. Excellent walking, quiet roads, good trails very nearby. I was there on business, just for the one night, but had a great stay, thankyou! Breakfast was good, though only available from 08:30, so maybe this...
