“everything was good. Would visit again”

“Upon arrival, we discovered that our room had two single beds pushed together rather than the double bed advertised. Given the record-breaking temperatures over the bank holiday, the climate in the room was exceptionally hot. We discovered that one of the radiators was on full blast and with no control valve to turn it off. With no air conditioning we were forced to open the windows. However, our room was located directly above the hotel kitchen and it's extractor fan which was extremely loud...

“Radiator not working so room was cold, tap on bath rattling and water spurting out took ages to fill bath. Shared room with a dozen ladybirds..canteen downstairs never open. Unlocked and unsafe left luggage hall.i came fownstairs a few times about radiator in the night and noonf on reception rang number on desk but it wasnt regonised. Reception not manned at all times.. the room was big and lovely and location good.”

“The hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, though in need of a few bits of maintenance (loo roll hooder rusty and broken, water in the sink due to the plug not staying out, loose socket by the bed). The bedding was clean and there were a good selection of pillows with different hardness. The mattress was a little thin but ok. The room got cold in the evening but there was an electric radiator in the cupboard. The front was within a few minutes walk so convenient. I...
