“Great staff lovely homely feeling.”

“The room was small. Only small semi-circular shelves either side of the bed. Not bedside tables. We only had one bath towel and one bath sheet between us. There were no complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and milk and fresh mugs not replaced during our 3 night stay. There were no curtains and a blind that did not keep out the light. “Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Convenient accommodation and parking to attend the opera at Glyndebourne. Room comfortable, but difficult to open the windows, and there appeared to be damp in the bathroom floor below the cistern. Good selection for the help-yourself buffet breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easily accessible, but very crowded on arrival at 2pm on a Friday afternoon.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. There were biscuits and fresh milk which was a lovely treat! The radio was a nice touch and the TV had access to Netflix and YouTube. WiFi connection was a bit hot and miss but wasn't a massive issue. The bed was very comfy. I felt very relaxed staying here. I will definitely visit again!”
