โPlease change the pillows! The only negative for the stay. Flat as a tack. BUT the room and the accommodation and the staff are excellent. Breakfast a bargain at under ยฃ10. โ
โJorvik House was a great stay for our overnight trip in York and was centrally located but away from the crowds of the city. The room was well appointed and quiet, and we had the best nightโs sleep of our entire 3-week UK trip in the very comfortable bed!
The only fault of our stay is the lack of clarity around the parking at the property - we werenโt aware of the parking situation before we arrived and the closest car park was ยฃ25 per night. โ
โThis isnt a manned hotel.. Its comfortable clean rooms in an unoccupied house.
That being said its secure warm and a great stay. Slept really well. The bathroom and shower where great. 10 min walk into town great quiet location.
I had to contact owners as door code wasn't received. Call was answered quickly and help was brilliantโ

โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ
