โReally nice hotel, great staff, friendly, helpful and polite. Nice, clean facilities. Some quaint and quirky features. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend. โ
โWhat a perfect place to stay in York.
A very easy stroll into York City. Everything you could want in a stay. Breakfast was very generous. And laundry dervice provided on request.โ
โDanielle was very kind and thoughtful. Because I had an early train and could not be there for breakfast, she made sure I had lunch for my trip.
Thank you!โ
โThe hotel is located very close to restaurants, pubs, and a beautiful park right across the street. Itโs walkable into the city center with many beautiful sites and attractions.โ
โThe room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. โ
โA very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre.
Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid.
There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all.
The flat is a funny layout. We slept in the main room which is at the front of the flat and the kids room is...
โLovely British style hotel. A little far from York station to walk if with big luggage but close to city center. Host was very kind and helpful, kitchen was really nice to cook some simple foods โ
โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ
