Location excellent. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly BUT The bathroom area was awful - loud creaking push/pull door, a dangerous step up, hardly any space and the plug was clogged with dirty hair. Also the air conditioning was faulty.

We arrived early (around 3 hours before check-in). We were only planning to drop our bag, head out, then come back after check-in, but the guy on reception happily checked to see if a room was available, then checked us in early, with an upgraded park-view room! Ascot House
Good facilities and large rooms. Very noisy - the building seems to attract alot of youngsters wanting parties etc, so not ideal for a business trip. I also wouldn't recommend it for a lone female traveller - there were some undesirable characters around.
