Don't do it.......... not a place you want to stay.
I should of read the reviews thoroughly. I booked through Expedia. I paid $92 including taxes for 2 nights, and was added a $50 cleaning service per day (which no one went to clean squad) and 17% of taxes again. Total was $209 for 2 nights. Expedia gave me an address and when I got there. Apple told me it was not that building.. it was 3 blocks down.
The room was dirty and it smelled. Sheets and beds smelled. Pillows smelled. You could tell they only made the bed without washing the bed linens. The carpet was dirty the sofa in the living area was like if they picked it up from a college after the semester ended. We bought groceries to make dinner, but once we got into the appartment and see the swarm of roaches run from the light. We were disgusted and disappointed. We literally had to sleep with all of the lights on to keep them away.
The bathroom was another disgusting room. Dirty, no toilet paper. Dirty stall dirty shower. No shampoos or soaps. Dirty hand sink. I don't know how they call themselves luxury apartments. Once I was dropping my key off I ran into another of their guest and they so had a similar experience. NEVER AGAIN!
The process was very confusing and only way to get assistance was via email (sent the same day) and phone call. Had to provide CC info over the phone for additional charges, which felt very shady, otherwise we wouldnt be granted access.
Furthermore, the key collected from the keybox did not even give us access to the parking lot nor the actual building, and we waited on the phone for over 2 hours with their customer service rep who could not do anything but tell us to wait and try again. We ended up leaving after having already pre-paid for the nights of stay....then when requested for a refund....the customer rep stopped responding to emails.
This place is an absolute joke and do not waste your time or money.

It was very terrible experience. First they collected extra money. They only contacted me last day so I had no choice than pay the extra money. The place was so dirty. I sent them pictures. Their amenities were so old and broken. Their shower curtain was full of mold and bacteria. I can go on and go on ....
The keys were not ready and they were in the wrong locker. The maid had to come let us in. The clicker to get in the building and the amenities areas did not work. The apartment was not clean so we didn't stay. The leasing company is in Denver and they had no idea what the building looked like or how it operated.
Our stay here was a nightmare, we had no way of getting into our unit, we phoned many times for help
But no one got back to us we had noidea where the key was, no idea what the password was for wifi
Therefore could not make any bookings for tours or another hotel.
There was no information or maps where we could buy food or get milk etc to make our own food
Also the bed slats collapsed we phoned for help,no reply. We have travelled extensively and this is the worst experience we have had. We have put a formal complaint into BBB America, waiting for a response. I warn tourist, do not book this place ever.

Expedia says $50 cleaning fee, however, I was charged $60 cleaning fee + $25 amendities which is extremely disrupting. I want refund and a reasonable explanation.
I have a VRBO and my guest would be appalled if they would have stayed here. The best thing I can say is the Property Manager was helpful. The apartment lacks every day items I had to go out and buy my own 4 cup coffee maker the one onsite was disgusting. No way to clean it. Again I have to say never again.

They attempted to charge me double the published rate
These folks need to find another housecleaning service and update their amenities. While the apartment itself was decent, there were so many little things that make the ratings go way down.
1. Dirty handtowel hanging on the shower rod
2.TP on the roll had some weird blue stain on it
3. Deadbolt was sitting on the counter
4. Fitted sheet was on the bed sideways totally askew
5. Area rug was not vacuumed
6. Dirty pan in dishwasher
7. Pots and pans for general use were filthy and don't know if they were trying to be hipster, but they seriously looked like they came from a thriftstore and never washed
8. The bathroom accessories were very rusted and dirty
9. Metal bed frame was so squeaky we slept on the couch pull out
10. Huge spot of black mold on bathroom ceiling
Bottom line, the apt location was good, but the whole place needed some serious updating and maybe paint the scratches off the wall. And for gosh sakes, go to Ikea and buy some new stuff!
Furniture damaged, food left on floor, water damage to the walls, walls and floor were so dirty. Very disappointed in this property and the misleading photos.
Worst Customer Service EVER! The shower handle was broken in the bathroom, and we were not able to take a shower for 3 days. We called management every day several times, having to leave a message. Nobody called us back, and it was never fixed. Still to this date, have not received a phone call. We requested a refund, which was denied by email with a "standard" explanation that did not even pertain to us at all. On top of that the smell of dog pee was really strong.
Worst experience ever. It was a hassle to find the key to open the door. On top of that, the facility required a $500 deposit and $50 cleaning charge fee which was never mentioned at the time of payment and booking. After we checked out and left the city, staff called saying they were not going to refund the $500 because there was supposedly a broken chair somewhere; this was a total lie. On top of the alot of the electrical outlets did not work.
So direction on how to get key until you get to property! Too many obstacles until you finally get access to it. Poor communication and rude management! Will never stay here ever again! Pics on site look way different! Concrete floor in our room while pics had wooden floors. Extra mattress on the floor instead of on a frame. Dirty sheets on that as well! Unexpected hidden fees you see after u book and no cancellation even after 2 minutes of purchase. So misleading on so many levels!
Worst experience of my trip to Houston. I was in town for the NAPE conference, after carrying all my luggage up 6 flights of stairs the room HAD NO POWER, nothing worked. I called their management who barely spoke English and were of no help. Long story short I went to the Holiday Inn that night. Apple Theory said they will not refund my $200 because I was outside of their 24 hour cancellation policy... Duh I showed up to your apartment room and there was no power
