The staff was amazing especially Abd El Hamid from housekeeping and Abd El Baset ( one of the chefs; he had Falafel prepared especially for me At breakfast), beach staff were brilliant. All staff were professional, friendly, helpful, smiley. Sea water was stunning, I had a sailing catamaran course with Mohamed Shaaban who was a genius. Thank you to all the staff and will definitely go back.

Resort is at a very nice location, near the snorkeling deck. Friendly stuff willing to help. Property is under renovation and also a mile away from marina shopping area. The suite is spacious and well furnished.

Definitely it is one of our best vacation spot from many places we visited. No humidity, no mosquitoes, good service and good food. Staff was very friendly, helpful and trying to please in every turn. The beach is clean and sandy. The sea is slightly cool (it was early April) when you enter but very nice afterwards. The weather was between 76 -82 around the clock! Some areas of the building are showing their ages. But still well maintained. The food was plenty and very tasty. Attention to details was very noticeable. How can you beat such a place 🙏🐟👋🥰 We are planning to come again for sure!👍👍👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Property is undergoing substantial renovations - we changed to a redone room after day 1 which was a great improvement. The setting is excellent - we've stayed a number of times before

The design of the hotel is unique, in the form of a beautiful pharaonic temple, with a private beach. Hotel staff are very helpful and always smiling. Restaurant Abidos serves delicious meals. you have to book the All inclusive option as there aren't many option outside the hotel. The hotel was crowded with many local guests, and probably selling its rooms cheaper by far to accommodate employees of companies or unions, which is not an advantage at all for the rest of the guests coming from outside Egypt.

The setting is magical. The hotel looks tired and needs refreshing. Management staff and housekeeping were excellent Restaurants staff, especially at breakfast, were not so good. They are under the impression that good service is being obsequious when they are actually ineffective.

We had one full day no hot water. No one came even after repeated calls. Yaseer in dinning supervisor was great.

Not too good experience this visit despite having better experiences before. Hotel overcrowded with no sufficient staff to serve specially on the beach & inside the restaurant.

I stayed in Sheraton Soma Bay 6 years ago and I was not impressed with the food and buffet. But this time its a totally different story. The buffet was fantastic and the service was amazing . Special thanks to the room attended Mohamed . Special thank you for Yasser "restaurants manager" he answered my questions . And most importantly to assistant Manager Monssef , he was very accommodating in all our requests. Mr. Monssef went over and above and made us feel welcomed .

This hotel should have closed for the renovations and reopen after. - pool not heated or just by the sun - most waiters in the diner restaurant are stressed and unfriendly - reception of this Sheraton is complicated, was unable to accept a 20 euro note with a little cut to settle a 3 euro balance (They also don’t accept coins) - many personal eat also at the diner restaurant - generally fairly lazy employees except a few who work a lot Surprise that a Sheraton could be like that! I don’t had a feeling of the American management (maybe it’s a franchised hotel)

I had a great experience about this hotel 3 years ago when I stayed there am not sure if management changed?! I recommended the hotel to my niece that was celebrating her honeymoon she just got married two weeks ago and that was my gift for her. I live in US and used my credit card for the payment I could easy dispute the charges however it is not my way. Unfortunately she complained about her stay and quality of the food even she complained to front desk who couldn’t help or at least offer to upgrade her room as kind of compensation . It is basic customer service. I thought it is better to write directly to the hotel instead of leaving bad reviews on trip advisor…etc looking forward to hear from the management
