"Always love staying at this property. The staff are always lovely and the property is elegant and beautifully designed. The room and bath are tip-top. "
"The hotel is very old but charming as long as you understand that there will be no TV and the bathrooms will be a bit tight, but our room was large and comfortable. Two blocks from lots of dining and close to many sights. The food we had at the hotel was excellent. Will visit again!"
"It was a nice older building with a very friendly staff.
It was about a 10 minute walk to the metro that meandered through a nice neighborhood and passing through DuPont Park which was beside the Metro station. There were several nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You could also eat at the hotel restaurant."
"We knew this was the lowest priced hotel in DC, so our expectations were low. But we just needed a place to sleep. However, the front desk was ready for us. Very pleasant woman sang to us while checking us in. Everyone that worked the front desk was super nice! Our room was perfect. Full size bed, great closet & bathroom. Very clean. Our only concern was that housekeeping came in to make the bed and clean the room even though we didn't put the door hang out asking for it. We didn't want anyone in the room, but they came in any way. Check out was a breeze. Parking on the streets is free on the weekends. We walked to the White House, and several other destinations. It was a great surprise to have a great place to crash out and regroup!! Will definitely stay here when we come back!!"
"That was amazing and I’ve always been a fan of the generator hostle. The only thing was that the AC was out. Things happen . We made the most of it though! I’ll be back!"
