“We are so pleased to have stayed 7 nights at HIRUGI. The staff helped us prior to arrival with car rental and restaurant reservations (we don't speak Japanese). The lady of the house is SUPER hospitable (speaks French too). So many positive aspects including tips on New Year activities taking place and a traditional dinner organized. We were the only couple there most nights, few other guests during our stay, so we mostly had the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and recommend...

“Nice place! Pool, beach and various activities available! At shop in lobby, we can buy almost all things for activities so no worry about forgetting something for activity. Staffs were very kind and nice but for foreigners, it is a little bit hard to communicate. (Fluent English speakers were few). Wifi was available only at lobby.”

“Before i went there, i was aware what would it be.. since it is licated really far way from everything, i assumed that this would be country side like. And it was exactly like that. Old fashion interior and all the facilities but well equiped and maintained. Had everything we need, breakfast was good, nearby beach and quiet place. If you are expecting 5 star hotel kind looking, it is better looking for other accomadation. Overall, because every facilities are hard to find anywhere this island,...

“A small hotel right at the beach in a nice bay. It is located on northern part of Iriomote island. It is not far from a bus stop but it would be good to have your own transportation. The room was clean but basic and had no WiFi. That was only available in the common area downstairs. I had good meals in the hotel itself. ”
