"I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs. "Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended "

"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. But this was what we looked for so worked well!"

"The staffs were not on duty most of the time during my stay. When I needed some more toilet paper, tissues or towels, no one could help me. Even I checked out at around 11:30 am, I just dropped my key to their mailbox as no one was on duty."

"Big room, close to gyms"

"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"
