An economical stay at a property in the UP! The resort is older, so expect some peeling paint and refurbishing. Location is great with access to hiking, waterfalls and the Porkies.

This was a random find as we were looking for a pit stop in between camping spots in the UP. We ended up booking an extra night due to the bugs and my family being tired of camping. This place was so nice, our view was stunning, breakfast was free and fantastic, the beds were very comfy, and my kids fought over top bunk in our family suit. The managers and staff were so friendly and gave us plenty of places to explore and enjoy locally plus free ski lift rides! We didn’t expect to stay and enjoy it as much as we did but now we are planning another stay later this year in the “off season” and I hope to get back again in winter to check out all their runs between the two hills.
