Amazing stay at El Corazon Boutique Hotel, Holbox. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and restaurants and not too close to hear noise from the bars. The room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the effort put into the design. Breakfast was superb and its great to sit on the rooftop and enjoy the view. Thank you to all the team, highly recommended.

It is a lovely 11 room boutique hotel with very friendly and personable staff. They really want to make your stay comfortable and they will help with any tour you want to do etc. The included breakfast was delicious and cooked to order with great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.

All the staff at corazon are wonderful. Special shout out to the lovely Argentinian breakfast waitress who after the first day remembered our breakfast beverages. Access to the beach club was also a great touch

It’s such a lovely hotel. It’s nicely decorated, very clean and bed was very comfy. The area is very quiet and close to the beach. We have also enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Staff was very friendly and provided recommendations for the area and restaurants. Walk to Punta Mosquito was amazing and was the highlight of our holiday.

I cannot express enough how AMAZING and helpful the staff was at this hotel. Before we even arrived they had contacted us to give us information about your stay including places to eat and activities to do while visiting. They were also extremely helpful in setting up transportation from the Cancun airport to the hotel itself. The breakfast each morning on the rooftop was top notch and the room was extremely clean. If I could give 6 stars in all these areas I would! Wonderful stay ( :

We found everything about this property meeting or exceeding our expectations. From the greet to the goodbye we enjoyed every minute. The location was very convenient to the beach club we were able to access through staying at the hotel. A daily breakfast offering in a lovely rooftop setting started every day with a smile. Every staff member we met was nice, accommodating and helpful. We cannot recommend the El Corazòn more highly.

Fantastic

We had an amazing stay! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. The cleaning of our room was top-notch, definitely the best we’ve seen in Mexico. The room had everything you could need, and the bathroom was spacious with two showers – fantastic! The restaurant recommendations were all great. Even though we didn’t expect it, access to the Beach Club was awesome – definitely one of the top three on the beach! There’s absolutely nothing to criticize about our stay – we would recommend this to everyone!

I really enjoyed my time at this gem of a hotel. The property is clean, rooms smell amazing, beds are super comfy and it’s conveniently located near the most stunning stretch of the beach, with fantastic restaurants nearby. The rooftop breakfast was a daily highlight and something to look forward to each morning. What truly made my experience unforgettable however, was the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to make my stay unique. Fabio, the owners, and the amazing Sonia who provided genuine and caring hospitality. She helped me find my lost iPhone and provided great suggestions for restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever visiting the island of Holbox!

The customer service here was absolutely outstanding. We were there for a birthday and they decorated the room so nicely. The included breakfast was delicious and there were many choices to choose from. The bathroom had a double shower, which was very nice, and everything was so comfortable and cozy. And if the rain started and we had anything outside, they came to help us pull it out of the rain so it wouldn’t get soaked. Every day they asked how we were doing, and if there was anything they could help with. We will definitely stay here again and let people know that it’s the best spot on the island.

My daughter and I have just spent 4 wonderful nights at the hotel. The accommodation and service is outstanding. We received a warm welcome from all the staff throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel owners are very lucky to have such lovely staff working there. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and there is a free beach club pass for the nearby Mawimbi hotel included, which was fantastic. I send a special shout out to Fabio, who helped arrange tours and taxis; and who was professional and charming. I do not hesitate to recommend El Corazón for your stay on Isla Holbox.

I really enjoyed my time at this gem of a hotel. The property is clean, conveniently located near the most stunning stretch of the beach, and surrounded by fantastic restaurants. The daily rooftop breakfast was a highlight, something to look forward to. They offer a diverse range of healthy and traditional Mexican options. What truly made my experience unforgettable for me however, was the exceptional staff. Fabio, the owners, and the amazing Sonia who provided genuine hospitality. When I lost my iPhone upon arrival, they all rallied around to help, with Sonia going above and beyond. ¡Gracias a todos! I recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

We recently stayed at El Corazón Boutique Hotel and the staff and hotel are great!! The hotel and rooms are very clean and the bed and pillows are amazingly comfortable for hotel beds (probably the best I’ve slept in). The hotel rooftop breakfast is very good (especially the smoothie bowls) too. Three issues to consider (mostly affected by rainy days/season): The location is approximately 3 blocks from the beach, which is great… although during rainy season the streets flood badly and you really will want rain boots. I asked them to warn future tourists that basically the whole island floods with a day of rain and they said, “they’ll take that into consideration”. The Mawimbi beach club is another 3 blocks equivalent from the beach front area you walk to. It is the nicest of the clubs, it’s just a little fat if you don’t love walking (we were fine with it as we love walks but I think it should be known), especially with the flooded streets. The hotel lost water for a day (12 hours of daylight) and they kept saying it was an entire island problem, but it seemed to only be our hotel. I’m thankful the issue was fixed by 6pm or so. Anyway, they truly are very nice and very helpful! I just wish there had been a bit more transparency. I would totally stay there again!

OMG! This hotel really has the appropriate name. Everything is made with love. I am beyond words. Fabio and Sonia, since the day of the booking are kind, helpful; they truly care about their guests. It feels like home.

This was a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location was great - just a few minutes walk to the main beach. They also have a partnership with a beach front hotel so you can use their sunloungers - a nice idea! Breakfast on the terrace was amazing too.

El Corazon Boutique Hotel is hidden jewel

There are so many things that make this hotel fantastic, it's hard to know where to start. The most important item to me was cleanliness and this hotel aces that factor. The facility is small, quiet and quaint. The breakfast is divine and the views from the rooftop eating area are beautiful and relaxing. To really enjoy relaxation time, there are several locations with hammocks and hanging chairs that create cozy spaces of rest. We are empty nesters and this was a perfect hotel and location. It is close enough to walk to everything yet far enough away from the late-night party noises.
