"Nice clean rooms right next to the Hakata station shopping mall."

"Perfect location; walking distance to Hakata Station, Nakasu-Kawabata Arcade, Canal City and Tenjin. Many restaurants and convenient stores nearby. And a 24-hour grocery stores a few blocks away. Room was clean and comfortable; housekeeping optional but excellent! Wi-Fi works great, mini frig in room and nice bathroom equipped w/ shower and separate tub. Coin-operated laundry facilities and vending machines and micro available. Front desk staff nice: easy check in and check out. A/C worked great too! Ate breakfast once during stay; was okay! Staff more attentive to Japanese guests though. Many other options nearby. Will definitely return but may opt for next room size (sold out this time).Prices were reasonable, considering it was Golden Week! Only drawback (but minor); many guests were non-Japanese so English-proficient staff necessary at front desk and especially when answering the phone! Would definitely recommend Daiwa Roynet Hakata Reisen. There are two other branches on the same street! Doumo Arigato Gozaimasu! Jim from Hawaii"

"Such a lovely modern hotel. Decent size room with a view over the station which my husband loved. Good comfortable bed and very clean indeed. Staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful. Great location right by the shinkansen and JR station as well as Kokura itself. Would stay again."
