"Leaky refrigerator, water was not very hot in the shower. Overpriced breakfast, so I declined. Restaurant attached to the hotel was meh and also overpriced. Parking was extremely inconvenient, so much so that I got lost and ended up in a minor traffic collision due to gridlock. Explanation for directions to the garage were unhelpful. Had to go downstairs to go up the elevator which makes no sense to me. General rating, 2 star because at least the bed was made well and there were good soaps and shampoo in the shower. "

"The Populus hotel is somewhat new, and already possessed of a staff that manages to be warm without being cloying, engaged without performing engagement. A rare thing, that. The room, I should note, was not large. Manhattan has conditioned me to accept certain spatial indignities, but Seattle, one expects, operates under different assumptions. No matter — what the room lacked in square footage it more than compensated for with a bed of almost suspicious comfort, a bathroom that knew its business, and amenities that suggested someone with actual taste had done the sourcing. The coffee and tea were, refreshingly, not an afterthought. The art, displayed throughout with evident conviction, is original work — not the usual exercise in inoffensive abstraction one finds plastered across the corridors of lesser establishments. Practically speaking, the hotel sits in cheerful proximity to the train station and to whatever sporting cathedral the Seattles watch their fave sport. We shall, without question, return."

"Beautiful corner room, clean, comfortable. Kyle was the front desk person when we checked in and he was wonderful! Easy Parking on site for a nominal fee. We love our stays at the Mediterranean!"

"The service and staff were all amazing! Great hospitality and wonderful food and drinks prepared in the restaurant and lounge. The only complaint (totally personal) is that there are way too many mirrors in odd places. Overall absolutely stunning place and great experience!"

"Everyone was ok except inconsistent suggests from staff regarding how to best pay for parking. Id stay further from downtown next time. Its largely empty and everything closed after 5pm. "
