“The hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful and friendly the food was very nice we ate in the bar area it was very relaxed. If I had one negative it was thst the bed was a little hard it could have done with a mattress topper. ”

“Stayed 1 night to break up the journey from Cornwall back up North. Absolutely perfect. Gorgeous, clean, modern room complete with patio area and access to beer garden at the back. Air con, mini fridge, complimentary bottled water and milk for the brews.
Staff were absolutely amazing. Food was hearty and delicious. It was a perfect end of our hols. The only negative was the clanging mirror hung on the back of the bathroom doir, which we lifted down and replaced before we left. Would definitely...

“We stayed room 12 which was clean & spacious, en-suite gave us the option of bath or shower, staff very friendly & attentive , the manager (Doug ) had good banter with the customers which we found very comical, if we needed any top ups ( tea bags , milk etc) staff very obliging.”

3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine.
The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.
The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood.”

We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.”
“Well appointed hotel with lovely views across the Nailsworth valley. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a huge bed. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner, but breakfast is excellent. We have stayed here three times now and have not been disappointed. ”
“The main bed was firm but comfortable. Parking can be interesting, if the three spots directly outside are occupied there are other car parks within a short distance 25 - 50 meters but the area is quiet so we could pull up outside the garlic rooms and drop our bags in and then park up. We had a little difficulty setting up the sofa bed but putting the mattress on the floor gave us a third bed. We would happily stay again. Thank you Garlic rooms.”
