โThis recently updated hotelโso new you can even smell the new paint every now and thenโis downright beautiful, well-appointed, clean, and spacious, with new furniture, flooring, bathrooms, etc.! And it's right in the heart of everything in downtown Oakland, just steps away from great restaurants and BART and bus connections. I will definitely stay here again!!!โ
โIt was perfect for one night. The room was nice and clean. We went to a soccer game at the Coliseum. We walked to the Bart to get to and from the game. โ
โThe staff are wonderful, very professional and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. My granddaughter loves the pool area. My one complaint is having to pay for parking, especially in an area thatโs pretty isolated, thereโs not much around this facility and itโs not like all the spaces are taken. Having said that, itโs not the first time Iโve stayed at this facility and it wonโt be the last. โ
โI had to extend my stay in the bay area on short notice, and then I had to stay longer, eight nights altogether. As it turned out, I had to spend seven days and nights in the room, not leaving at all. The room was a safe, comfortable place to spend that time, and the staff were kind and considerate. If I had been able to leave the room, the location would have been an excellent base for a visit to the area, with easy walking access to plenty of places to eat, drink, shop, and enjoy local parks...
