"Tamarix was perfect. Big villas, great staff, bar, wonderful buffet breakfast, large pool, some villas have hot tubs. The property is surrounded by restaurants but is in a side street so is not on the busy and loud tourist street. A 2 minute walk to the beach. We loved it so much we were planning to go back before we had even checked out!!!"

"A wonderful place to stay in Santorini. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was marvellous. We booked one with a private pool which was lovely. The breakfast delivered to the room is delicious and fresh, you can select time to have it and change your selection each day. Highly recommend booking the sunset boat tour via the hotel as they booked it for us and kept us up to date. The beach is close by and is lined with a variety of restaurants bars and shops. "What an incredible stay! I booked this hotel for my mum and I for her birthday and we had a great time. They provided a small treat per my request for my mum with a small bottle of wine and message. "We stayed one night before going to Oia. Our flight arrived at midnight and the owner kindly picked us up at the airport for free. The owner also gave us a free ride to the wine museum. Highly recommended. "

"The only complaints would be that the WiFi was spotty throughout our stay and the shower had no curtain so the bathroom floor could get a little wet. Otherwise, the location, customer service and amenities were all great!"

"This is a small, clean, non-chain hotel, with self serve kitchenettes; so I could buy groceries and beer locally and make myself at home. I appreciated my room with the small, private patio off it where I could have my breakfast, listen to the birds and see Mount Vouno. The pool was clean and a real treat after a day of hiking in the region, or swimming at the beach which is a five minute walk.
