"The All Suite Hotel shares facilities with the Hotel Istra. A lot depends on what you are expecting. The island does get local people use the 'beach area' but we enjoyed the quieter 'Red island' which is a short walk over the causeway. Some sunbeds are available on the flat areas of rocks although access to the sea is limited/with caution. Breakfast in the Historical Castle was a delight and evening meals could also be had there. We preferred eating in the intimate 'a la carte' rather than the...

"It’s a wonderful hotel and a beautiful area!"

"We were looking for an alternative all-inclusive resort to Turkey or Greece (so we can drive there vs flying). The potential for this resort is huge...it competes very well with the best. We stayed 2 weeks after it opened, and the staff and level of service was already excellent. We will certainly be back."

"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. Staff was always very nice and friendly - especially to both of our kids. Thank you Maistra Funtana team. See you next year! "

"Amazing, very cozy hotel in absolut mint condition. Located in the picturesque town of Fazana just in the right size with a very good beach, near Brijuni and with a lot of really good restaurant (such as La Bodega). The staff is awesome, very welcoming and serviceminded. Although the breakfast ain’t the biggest one in sortiments it’s of the highest quality and plenty enough. "
