"I got the small room because I only needed it for just the night. The room was very clean, functional, affordable, the staff were kind, polite and friendly. I absolutely enjoyed my stay, worth the money and I will definitely be staying here again."

"Staff and management do not care about the guest Room didn’t get cleaned when we asked it too And toilet seat didn’t fit, The general manager said that’s how the Arabs like them Yet I’m not a Arabs, I will never stay here again Staff tell lies and nothing is done about it "

"GREAT PLACE TO STAY, WONDERFUL LOCATION WITH LOTS OF SHOPS, PUBS AND RESTAURANTS NEARBY AND PADDINGTON STATION LESS THAN A 5 MINUTE WALK .MUSEUMS AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS ARE ALSO NEARBY. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND BREAKFAST IS FANTASTIC, HALI AND THE REST OF THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND CANT DO ENOUGH TO HELP, WILL CERTAINLY GO BACK NEXT TIME WE ARE IN LONDON ,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"The beautiful Hyde park is directly across the street. The park is fun for kids, dogs and adults. There is also a lake in Hyde Park that rents row boats and paddle boats. We rented an Automatic paddle boat so that we could sit back and enjoy the gorgeous nature and watch the swans, ducks, horses and dogs from the middle of the lake. Breathtaking. "

"We usually stay round the corner at Copthorne Tara but my son was also staying so we decided to book as there was a (very nice) pool. We also decided to take advantage of the upgrade offer to Premium. We read the descriptions of bath with shower, dressing gowns, mini bar, extra room, higher floors etc. ….. we received NONE of this. Put on 2nd floor, beds jammed into room. Bathroom with pocket door so my head was literally 3 feet away from the toilet. No bath just a small shower tray. No mini bar, no bathrobes. Whilst they say facilities may differ at locations there was nothing in this room that would differentiate as a “Premium” room. When we queried with staff they asked us room number and looked at system and informed us it was a Premium room (would think they had never been in that room ever). Refused to give any refund of the upgrade we paid for 2 nights and dismissed our photos from their website of the “upgrades” compared to their photos. Would never stay here again, Copthorne Tara standard rooms are twice the size. "

"Our stay in the renovated room was satisfactory. The room was clean, semi comfortable and did not smell. While the room is a little snug, one can manage. The downsides that stood out to us were the following: The air unit makes a dripping sound in the middle of the night, which can be annoying if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom does not exhaust well at all, so the steam sweats off the walls and every other surface. The shower design doesnt keep the water in the shower, instead it runs all over the bathroom floor, soaking every thing in its path. The bathroom sink is impractical to use, it gets water every where. The room door requires you to pull the door closed forcefully creating a loud noise. The bed is not long enough for taller people. "

"The good points were that the staff were nice, the reception desk, foyer bar, and breakfast were very thorough, and that breakfast was included. Sadly, the overall experience was just 'okay', which was disappointing for a hotel of this supposed calibre. The room was small, the 'amenities' that I paid £20 for was a 1-night upgrade because the two nights we'd booked were on different rates. I would struggle to know what the upgraded amenities were: no coffee machine, only basic shampoo and body wash, only one towel for 2 of us, and only one mug. We had to ask for more pillows, and the room attendant badgered us to not clean the room overnight three times. I can't say I would rush to recommend this to others, even though it's a nice place in a great location. "

"I had a small double for 1 person costing £189 for 1 night . so not much of a cheap option . The room was small as expected. The bathroom was unacceptable small if i had been any larger would not have been able to get in shower or Use the toilet!!!! Im Average build !! These rooms are not cheap enough … very good location. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit but don't book the small double if your over 11 stone 😳"
