“Great host and breakfast, easy parking ”

“The room was spotless and amazing. This was one of our tops stays on a 2 week trip. Right in the heart of Kenmare, we parked right out front. No elevator so not ideal if you need accessibility. The beds, shower, and hotel were terrific! We took the room with a balcony which was enjoyed even in December. Highly recommend! They also have a wine bar attached and served a lovely breakfast. ”

“We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty. “There was no specific address in Expedia, so Google maps took us to a residential area about a km from the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel was on the same road, so it was easy to see after driving further. Once there, the check in was easy and the hotel was very quiet. “Parking was very easy with plenty right outside the front door! Only complaint is bar closed early due to being slow (understandable) and was unable to have a drink after 8pm. Excellent staff!”

“The Park is definitely a worthwhile splurge. Room was well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. Kenmare is a great backdrop for a wonderful trip. If I had to make a "complaint" it would be that the carpet is so thick and plush it made pulling the wheeled luggage challenging, but that is not a serious complaint. ”
