"This was the best location and the most unique hotel in Portree. The room was beautiful and the bathrooms have been redone. We loved it!! The food was incredible!! Close to everything in town. Make sure you get there early though parking in town is limited, and the rules are not easy to figure out, so we found a parking ticket on our car in the morning. Besides that - it was incredible"

I felt cared for and welcome and my stay as a woman traveling alone was the best I could have hoped for. I definitely recommend this breathtaking property and will be back! "Loch Eyre House is a charming and private bed & breakfast. The fact that it's 7 miles from the traffic of Portree is a big plus-- at Loch Eyre House you have quiet and a beautiful view of Loch Eyre. The guest lounge is a comfortable place to read or play cards if the weather isn't great. Our room had everything we needed, plus a balcony porch with table and chairs. David & Lynn are great communicators who give wonderful advice and make delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed our 4-night stay so much, and we're very glad we chose Loch Eyre House for our base for exploring Skye!"
