"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. "The room is clean and really spacious, the area is safe yet near Hakata station. There's a proper drop-off to get taxis.The staff are also helpful with request such as loans of umbrellas and how to sort out the parking requests. Many amenities within the room. Only shortcomings are lacking of self-service laundry and the onsen is fairly small. I ordered something and the staff helped me to keep and delivered to the room. Excellent service. Will stay here again if opportunities arise. "
