"El 26 de marzo, un huésped, esposo de mi sobrina en la habitación 306, se cayó en la ducha, resultando lesión en la cabeza y corte en el pie que requirió 6 puntadas. La recepcionista Joanna no consideró necesario puntos porque la herida dejó de sangrar. Recogieron los vidrios rotos, pero el pie siguió sangrando. Llegó un médico dos horas después y decidió hospitalizarlo, ya que no tenía los instrumentos para las puntadas. Le dieron antibiótico y analgésicos. El médico dijo que Jonathan no puede trabajar una semana. Hablé con el gerente del hotel, Ruben, para pedir reembolso por esas fechas para cubrir la semana sin trabajo; me dijo que haría un reporte. Nos dieron otra habitación, no la reservada. El 27 de marzo, pedí hablar con el gerente sobre el reembolso y me respondió que yo debía pagar por la puerta, lo cual fue un insulto. El incidente arruinó nuestros planes y el personal fue muy despectivo. El médico no tuvo empatía y aún no recibimos su informe. Hoy intenté obtenerlo y nadie responde. ¡Nunca más me quedo allí, fue una pesadilla!"

"After we upgraded to a king suite everything was fine. As all the other reviewers wrote the staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is disappointingly smalll but the fruit plate is good. check in and out was seamless. the shower is fantastic!"

"We enjoyed our stay at LaVentana Beach Resort. Lalo was helpful with information for our stay. Our room was 3 steps from the sand and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach. "

"I understand this is a fairly new establishment, as mentioned by the staff, and there’s definitely potential here. That said, there were several areas where the room experience could be improved. Our room felt quite minimal, with only a bed and a sofa bed.there were no tables, chairs, or additional seating, which made it less comfortable for relaxing.The window shades also didn’t block out much light, unlike the rooms on the upper floors that have proper blackout curtains, which made a noticeable difference. The placement of electrical outlets throughout the room seemed a bit random and could benefit from more thoughtful planning.While décor isn’t everything, the space felt like it was missing a sense of warmth and intentional design. The marble floors, while, were quite slippery,especially when coming in from the pool or shower, so that’s something to be mindful of for guest safety. Additionally, the room did not include a refrigerator or basic items like drinking glasses.While I’m sure the staff would have provided these upon request, having these essentials readily available in the room would greatly improve the overall experience. Given how new the property is,it almost felt like the room may not have been fully ready for guests yet. For the price, I didn’t feel the accommodations quite matched the value. That said, the staff was incredibly friendly,attentive, and clearly eager to make guests feel welcome, which I really appreciated. I would consider a different room"

"This brand new hotel is right on the beach with a kite rental shop on the ground floor! The rooms are really well done with quality materials (headboard, doors, etc.) a fridge, closet space, comfortable beds, large bathroom and porches that offer great views of the Sea of Cortez and Ventana Bay. The layout of the hotel is really neat with nooks and hidden patios on various levels that offer both sun and shade. Having a restaurant ready to serve when you come off the water for a drink, late lunch or supper is a real plus. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and looking to make your kite vacation an event to remember! We had a great time and the kite shop got my son up and kite boarding (downwinder to La Tuna beach) within 6 hours of lessons. "
