“We have just returned from a 14-night half-board holiday at the Astir Odysseus Kos Resort & Spa and had an absolutely lovely, relaxing holiday.
The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean and very impressively laid out with a choice of many swimming pools or the sandy beach. Our room (number 531) was very nicely furnished with an excellent view of the Aegean Sea from our veranda and was kept pristinely clean by housekeeping.

“This is not a five-star hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms is questionable- dirty balcony windows, a wiered bathroom arrangement with damselflies flying around in the shower stall. The premium sea front view room is small- definitely not for 3 people. The property grounds , especially the greenery, could be better maintained, and better lit in the evening. The sauna in the spa is small ( 3 people max)so you have to book the time, you plan to attend and I am also wondering whether massage...
“Werden als Freundinnen ein Familienzimmer mit unseren zwei Kindern gebucht. Das Hotel liegt ziemlich stark am Hang, was es mit Buggy und Kindern nicht so angenehm macht.
Der Strand der ich circa 300 m vom Hotel befindet, ist mit sehr großen Steinen und wirklich nicht schön gelegen. Wir hatten deshalb immer ein Taxi genommen, 20 Minuten Fahrtweg nach Tigaki . Dort ist das Wasser glas klar und für Kinder zum herein laufen mein absoluter Traum da es sehr flach ist.

The beds are very uncomfortable, a safe isn’t included in room charge, limited food options. On our last night we found a mouse in our room (our room was on the 3rd floor and we kept doors closed), we weren’t offered a new room, security came in with a pole and the mouse ran down the corridor (unsure what happened to it I believe it’s still in the hotel)”
